A plan for what you use every month, and one balance for the rest.
Every plan carries the whole product. They differ in how much each month includes; past that, a paid plan keeps going and charges the project’s balance a rate you can read below, inside a spend cap you set.

What would a month cost?
Type a month’s events and messages. This is the same arithmetic the dashboard uses to suggest a plan, so the cheapest here is the one it would suggest for a month like this.
| Plan | A month like this |
|---|---|
| Free | pauses at its allowance |
| Procheapest | $125 |
| Business | $199 |
| Scale | $699 |
The plan’s price plus what is past its allowances at its rates, paid from the project’s balance. Iris is not included: its credit is spent by whoever asks, on the model they pick. Sales tax is added where it applies.
Questions
What counts as an event?
Every event your apps, websites and servers send, in a live environment. What Treebars records for you — a message delivered, an install attributed — is not counted. A test environment has a fair-use allowance of its own and does not spend the month’s.
What happens at the limit?
On Free, collection pauses at the allowance until the month turns or you choose a plan. On a paid plan the balance pays for what is past it at the plan’s rate. If the balance cannot, a grace of 10% of the allowance carries on unpaid, and then collection pauses — never before you have been told, at 80% and at 100%. Nothing already collected is touched.
The balance and the spend cap
A project has one prepaid balance in dollars. You top it up from the dashboard — $10 at least — or let it top itself up from the card the plan is paid with when it runs low. A spend cap, the plan’s price unless you set another, is the most it will pay in a month past the plan.
What is the Iris credit?
Iris, the assistant, runs on models we pay for by use. Each plan includes a month of credit; past it, the balance pays. Every model is charged at the provider’s own price times the same 1.3, so a dearer model spends the credit faster, in exact proportion. On your own model key, Iris costs nothing here: you pay your provider.
Who charges me?
Paddle, our merchant of record. It takes the payment, adds and remits the sales tax or VAT where you are, and its name is the one on your card statement. We never see your card number. See the terms and the refund policy.
Changing plan, or leaving
Moving up starts at once, charged for the rest of the period. Moving down, or cancelling, takes effect at the end of what you have paid for, and the month you paid for keeps its allowance. A cancelled project goes back to Free — one free project a person.
